EF Hult Prize uses a software platform as our startup application portal, designed specifically for managing startup incubator and accelerator programs. It centralizes applications, program management, mentoring, communications, and reporting into one integrated system.
The platform is built for:
- Startup incubators and accelerators
- Corporate innovation programs
- University entrepreneurship centers
- Venture builders and innovation hubs
Only the team captain needs to submit the startup application on behalf of the whole team. Here is some useful information about using the application portal:
Register your startup in two steps
Start by completing the registration form on the EF Hult Prize website. After submitting the form, you will receive an email with a link to our application portal. Your registration is not complete until you access the application portal and submit your startup details there. Be sure to complete both steps to finalize your registration.
How can I make changes to the team information?
EF Hult Prize collects the most up-to-date team details through the startup application portal platform.
- If you initially registered on our website, you may update the details of your team members when submitting your application on startup application portal. It is important to provide the most accurate team structure and details.
- If you’ve already submitted your application via the startup application portal, you won’t be able to make changes unless you advance to the next stage. The next opportunity to update your details will be before the Nationals stage.
Note: Any changes must be made in writing, unanimous, and approved by the EF Hult Prize.
Can we make changes on uploaded documents?
Yes! Head over to startup application portal > your Application.
1. To change pitch deck, one-pager and proof of student status: access the DOCUMENTS section and upload your documents there.
2. To change your pitch video (Youtube Link): go to the “ACTIVITIES” section at the top of the page of your Application, and paste your new youtube link there.
What is the deadline to submit the competition submissions on startup application portal?
For Open Application teams: The final deadline to submit your application on startup application portal is February 28th, 2026.
For teams that are competing locally/at the qualifiers:
Campus teams are required to submit their applications after their local competitions. Teams have 72 hours after the end of the local competition to complete their submission. Please ensure submissions are reviewed and ready beforehand.
- Winning teams: The winning team must submit their application on startup application portal within 72 hours of the local competition. Failure to meet this deadline will result in immediate disqualification, and the team will no longer be eligible to advance to the next stage.
- Runners-up: Local competition runners-up and non-winners can also submit their application on startup application portal to be considered for evaluation. While selection is not guaranteed, submitting their application increases visibility and potential opportunities.
Note:
Once your campus director submits the local competition report, the winner, 1st runner-up, and 2nd runner-up will automatically receive an email from our team outlining the next steps.
