Two panels. One trophy.
The EF Hult Prize mark abstracts the silhouette of the iconic Hult Prize trophy, designed by Yves Béhar. Its flare and stem split into two panels that open upward like growth.
The dark panel, the EF Hult Prize wordmark, the geometry, and the gap between the panels remain constant. The right panel fill is the expressive element of the mark.
Standard & inverted variations
Standard
For light backgrounds. Dark panel in Ink #150007, white wordmark, white EF logo + HIBS Shield in the expression panel.

Inverted (dark or busy backgrounds)
For dark or busy backgrounds. Panel turns paper-white, wordmark turns Ink. The expression panel must keep clear contrast against the background. Use the inverted version whenever the standard dark panel would sink into the background: dark photography, confetti, stage lighting, saturated gradients.

Minimum safe zone
The safe zone, in which no other element or edge of any canvas should interfere, is measured by the width of the dark panel. We also use this distance to space between multiple logos.

In order to ensure legibility, the primary logo should never appear smaller in print and on web than the sizes that are outlined below.

Logo don’ts
To ensure that the logo is always used as intended and to establish brand recognition, please avoid making any modifications to the logo, including but not limited to the examples below.
Partner lockup
With universities, sponsors and host venues, the partner sits left, the EF Hult Prize mark right, divided by a vertical bar at 2g distance on each side. Both marks are optically matched in height; the partner never enters or touches the expression panel.
