It is important to make sure you create an invoice using the correct format and details to avoid lengthy review procedures, transaction delays and payment bounces.
Here's what to include in the invoice PDF?
1st Page: A full page invoice with correct bill to address, tax ID, registered company name, adequate information to receive an international transaction, company address, contact numbers, detailed breakdown of the fund expenditure (sorted in categories), invoice number, and correct total request of the fund.
2nd Page: Attach your company bank details (include bank-originated document with your name, address to proof account ownership)
3rd Page onwards: Milestones of your startup. This can be in the form of detailed points/tables. Please cover these sections:
- Detailed milestones achieved thus far
- Milestones that are planned to achieve with the fund requested.
- Attaching the Milestones table, this must be in your updated business proposal (Pollumesh’s example below)
- Make sure to merge this into 1 file when you submit it for review via teams & officially.
Remember to review your invoice and proofread your details
- Make sure the invoice number is correct.
- Make sure you detail the description of your request for funds based on your milestone plan clearly and elaborately. It must align with your business proposal plan and milestone table.
